Big Island police are searching for a 52-year-old Mt. View man who was reported missing.

Larry Kimbell of  Mt. View was last heard from on November 27 and has not been seen since.  He was last seen operating a gray-in-color 1997 Honda Passport and may be in need of medication.

He is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-8, about 250 pounds with brown eyes and long brown hair.  Kimbell is also known to wear a mustache and a beard.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call Detective Wendell Carter at 961-2378, or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe.
