Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Kona man.

Emil Davis III of Kailua-Kona was reported missing Sunday (May 20). He was last seen May 15 when his wife dropped him off on Route 19 near the 84-mile marker. His plans were to walk to shore to pick opihi.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Officer Scotty Aloy at 326-4646, extension 245, Detective David Araki at 326-4646, extension 238, or the Police Department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 329-8181 in Kona or 961-8300 in Hilo. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
