MEDIA RELEASE UPDATE

Police have called off their search for a 75-year-old man missing overnight after he was found in good health and returned home Tuesday (June 25, 2002).

The missing man, Raymond Joseph Druzd, of a Hilo address, was returned home about 11 a.m.

Druzd had been reported missing at 6 p.m. Monday after he failed to return from a visit to his doctor’s office.

The missing man had left for an appointment with his physician about 9 a.m. He had walked to his appointment, arrived at the doctor’s office in downtown Hilo and had left after his appointment, but failed to return home.
