Missing since November 6, 2006

MEDIA RELEASE (UPDATE)

Big Island police are renewing their request to the public for help in locating a man who has been missing from Hilo since November 6.

Alvin Western Huffman IV, 39, was last seen November 4 but called in sick to his Hilo workplace on November 6.

Huffman, who has no permanent address, is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-10, 165 pounds with green eyes and short brown hair.

His only means of transportation is a blue mountain bike. He wears prescription glasses with thick black frames and often wears a Nascar baseball cap.

Police ask anyone who knows his whereabouts to call Detective Richard Sherlock at 961-2379 or the Police Department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.
