The Hawaii Police Department is searching for a 69-year-old man who was reported missing on Thursday (October 2).

Roy Matsumura left his residential care home around 8 a.m. Thursday. A case worker with Care Hawaii reported seeing him near the intersection of Wainaku Avenue and Wailuku Drive around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

Matsumura is described as Japanese, 5-foot-2, about 120 pounds with short gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing jeans and a green or floral print polo shirt.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Officer Darryl Castillo at 961-2385 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
