Big Island police are looking for a 16-year-old girl reported missing since February 12.

Riva Alves of Kailua-Kona is described as part Hawaiian, 5-foot-5, about 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen on Alii Drive in the Kona town area.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call Acting Detective Walter Ah Mow at 326-4646, extension 265 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
