Media Release

Big Island police are searching for a missing 16-year-old girl.

Zuri Bernabe of Kailua-Kona was last seen leaving her home on September 18. She is described as Hispanic, 5-feet tall, about 100 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. She may be working on a coffee plantation.

Police ask that anyone with information on her whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
