Media Release

Big Island police are looking for a 14-year-old boy reported as missing who failed to return home on September 9.

He is William Duarte IV of Kailua-Kona. He is described as Caucasian, about 5-foot-3, about 145 pounds, with a fair complexion, medium build, brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen in the Holualoa town area. 

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Acting Detective Walter Ah Mow of the West Hawaii Juvenile Aid Section at 326-4646, extension 265, or the non-emergency telephone number at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
