MEDIA RELEASE

The Honolulu Police Department has requested the assistance of Big Island police in locating a 16-year-old girl reported missing from her Oahu home since January 12, 2007.

Her name is Tiara Mariani. She is described as Caucasian, 5-feet tall, about 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She may be in the Pahoa area of Puna.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call Officer B.J. Duarte of the Hilo Juvenile Aid Section at 961-2373 or the Police Department’s non-emergency telephone number at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
