Big >Island> police are looking for a 16 year old girl reported as missing who failed to return home on August 7, 2006.

She is Samantha VANDERHOEK. She is described as Caucasian about 5’6" in height, weighing about 120 pounds, having tan complexion, medium build, long blondish/brown hair and greenish/bluish eyes. Last seen wearing blue basketball shorts and a gray t-shirt. She was last seen in the kealakehe area and in town.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Officer Walter Ah Mow of the West Hawaii Juvenile Section at 326-4646 ext. 302 or the non-emergency telephone number at 935-3311.
