MEDIA RELEASE

Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 21-year-old Hilo woman who was reported missing. Tonya Taylor was last seen in March.

She might be accompanied by her husband, Martin Race, and her 1-year-old daughter, Mandy Taylor.

She is described as Caucasian, about 5-foot-5, approximately 134 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a circular burn mark on her left forearm and speaks with a heavy New York accent.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call Detective Darren Horio at 961-2385 or the Police Department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
