Big Island police will enforce a temporary one-way traffic pattern along a portion of Kapiolani Street on Saturday, October 7, 2006.

Between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. traffic will flow in the Hamakua direction only on Kapiolani Street between Mohouli Street and Hualalai Street.

The temporary one-way traffic pattern, allowed under the Hawaii County Code, will be in effect to accommodate Hawaii Electric Light Company’s Toys for Tots Train Ride and the annual country fair held by St. Joseph School.
