The Hawai’i Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a truck that was reported missing from the parking lot of Island Dairy in Ookala, North Hilo last week.

The truck is described as a red, 1999 Ford F-350, 4×4 diesel power stroke flatbed, with license plate number 313-HDN. The truck was parked and last seen on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 5 p.m. and discovered missing on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 7 a.m.

Also reported missing are welding equipment/tanks, generator, compressors, tool chest and assorted tools which was located in the bed of the truck.

Police ask that anyone with information about this case to call Officer Van Reyes at 962-2120 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
