MEDIA RELEASE UPDATE

Big Island police have called off a search for a 20-year-old woman wanted on an outstanding warrant for probation violation.

The woman, identified as Jaclyn Kanani Kama, was arrested last month on Oahu and is currently being held at the Oahu Community Correctional Center.

In October, Hawaii County police had asked for the public’s help in locating Kama, saying she had last been seen on Oahu in September, but may have returned to the Big Island.
