Kona police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 17-year-old Kailua-Kona girl who has been missing from her residence since November 2002 and who is also wanted for contempt of court.

The missing girl was identified as Natasha Ayala-Kaaumoana. She is described as being 5-feet-3 in height, weighing about 140 pounds and having a tan complexion, brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Officer Gerald N. Wike of the Kona Juvenile Aid Section at 326-4252 or the police non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 329-8181 in Kona or 961-8300 in Hilo. All Crime Stoppers information is kept strictly confidential.
