Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying an assailant who critically injured a Waikoloa apartment manager Wednesday evening (April 13, 2005).

Responding to a 9 p.m. call of an assault at the Kekumu Apartment complex in Waikoloa, South Kohala police and fire rescue personnel found the apartment manager unconscious.

The injured man was flown to the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, where he was reported in critical condition.

Police have no description of the assailant and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the assault or knows the identity of the assailant to call Detective Nancy Haitsuka of the West Hawaii Criminal Investigation Section at 326-4646, Ext. 281, or the police non-emergency number at 935-3311.
