Police are investigating the disappearance of a 31-year-old Puna man reported missing for more than a week.

The missing man, identified as Robert Dean Corsant Jr., of a Kapoho address, has been missing since Sunday, February 24, 2002.

Corsant is described as being a Caucasian, being 5-feet-11 in height, weighing about 250 pounds and having long brown hair and brown eyes. His vehicle, a white 1988 Isuzu Trooper with the license plate numbers “HTY-962,” is also missing.

Anyone who knows about Corsant’s whereabouts is asked to call Detective Richard Miyamoto at 961-2381 or the police non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. The identities of Crime Stoppers callers are kept strictly confidential.
