MEDIA RELEASE UPDATE

The female victim of a fatal traffic crash that occurred on Thursday (August 19, 2004) in the Volcano area has been identified as Jeannette E. Manahan, 53, of Elmhurst, New York. Jeanette Manahan was the front seat passenger of a 2004 Chevrolet two-door sedan driven by her husband, Rogelio Manahan.

The two drivers of the vehicles involved in the crash, Rogelio Manahan and Stanley Keliiholokai, remain in guarded condiction at the Hilo Medical Center. Police are continuing the investigation into the crash.
