The Hawai’i Police Department is asking for the public’s help with the investigation of a theft in Kona.

Sometime between October 22 and October 23, two Kawasaki Mule all-terrain vehicles and three 1-gallon resealable plastic bags of meat were removed from a property in Opihilale off Highway 11 near the 95-mile marker.

Police ask that anyone with information about the case call Officer Don Takahashi at 326-4646, extension 253, or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
