Hawaiʻi Island police have located Tianajade Mathieu who was wanted in connection with a reported threat in Hilo on Tuesday night (September 3).

Mathieu was arrested in Hilo at 10:40 p.m. Thursday on suspicion of terroristic threatening. She is being held at the Hilo police cellblock while detectives from the Area I Criminal Investigations Section continue the investigation.

Meanwhile, detectives have charged 40-year-old Stacey Kaheaokalani Veincent of Hilo with first-degree terroristic threatening, two counts of first-degree burglary, second-degree theft, two counts of third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, two counts of drug paraphernalia and violating health regulations. His bail was set at $13,000. His initial court appearance is scheduled for today.

On Wednesday afternoon (September 4), police received a report that a 31-year-old Hilo woman had been accosted by the pair at an apartment complex on Pamala Street in Hilo on Tuesday night. Veincent allegedly threatened the victim with an edged instrument, and Mathieu allegedly pointed a firearm at her.

The victim was uninjured in the incident.
