Vending near stadium prohibited during Merrie Monarch Festival 04-12-04

Big Island police are reminding residents that selling items will be prohibited along Kalanikoa Street or other public roads near the Edith Kanaka’ole Tennis Stadium during the Merrie Monarch Festival.

In addition, vending will not be allowed on Piilani Street or Manono Street or in the area next to the former Real Property Tax Office and other county buildings.

The prohibition on vending will be in effect during the Merrie Monarch Festival, which will be held Wednesday through Saturday (April 14-17, 2004).
