Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 26-year-old Pāhoa man wanted on two outstanding warrants. Michael Dwayne Carvalho is also wanted for questioning in connection with a robbery, assault and terroristic threatening.

He is described as Filipino, about 5-foot-11, about 190 to 200 pounds with brown eyes and short black hair. Police advise the public not to approach him.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Detective Derek Morimoto at 961-2380 or dmorimoto@co.hawaii.hi.us. Citizens may also call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
