A Puna woman has been charged for an incident involving a report of a gun near Keoneopoko Elementary School last week.

Friday afternoon (August 30), detectives charged 49-year-old Lokelani Lenore Harbrecht-Kalua with first-degree terroristic threatening. Her bail was set at $2,000. She was held at the Hilo police cellblock pending her initial court appearance scheduled for Tuesday afternoon (September 3).

Police recovered three firearms during the investigation.
