Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 20-year-old Puna man who was reported as an escapee from Hale Nani correctional facility.
Scottie Yanagawa was last seen at the correctional facility Thursday (November 19) around 10 a.m.
He is described as a local male, 5-foot-5, 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos of skulls on his left hand and upper arm and tribal tattoos running down his right arm.
Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
