The Hawaii Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for terroristic threatening.

Around 11 a.m. on September 11, a 60-year-old Mountain View man reported that an unknown male threatened him at knifepoint at the intersection of Kinoole Street and Mohouili Street. The suspect punctured a tire on the victim’s truck, challenged the victim with the knife and then fled on a blue-gray moped heading south on Kinoole Street.

The suspect was carrying a female passenger. Both are believed to be in their late teens or early twenties.

The male is described as Caucasian, about 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11, about 180 pounds with dark eyes, a goatee and long dark curly hair in a ponytail. He was last seen wearing pants, a white T-shirt and sandals.

The female wore a helmet with a visor that concealed her face. She was wearing brown short and white shoes and was carrying a large black backpack.
