Big Island are searching for a 35-year-old Mountain View man who was reported as missing.

James Kaneshiro has a medical condition that requires medication.

He is described as 5-foot-10, 250 pounds with brown eyes, a shaved head and a beard. He was last known to be on Kīlauea Avenue in Hilo on Wednesday afternoon (May 16). He was wearing a white T-shirt, red surf shorts and black slippers.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
