MEDIA RELEASE

Hawaii Police Department is searching for a 14-year-old girl who has been missing from her residence in Pahoa, Hawaii, since June 8, 2002.

She was identified as Nikkole Castro.

Castro described as being Caucasian, being 5 feet in height, weighing about 150 pounds with a heavy build and having fair complexion, with blonde hair and brown eyes.

Persons with information as to his whereabouts should contact Puna Patrol Officer Nicolas Muna at 966-5835 or the police non-emergency telephone number at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept strictly confidential.
