Big Island police have charged a 32-year-old Hilo man with six offenses stemming from events Sunday that ended with a serious traffic collision.

Early Tuesday afternoon (August 17), detectives from the Area I Criminal Investigations Section charged Alexander Borrero III with first-degree attempted murder, unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle, reckless driving, resisting an order to stop and first-degree negligent injury.
