The Hawai’i Island Police Activities League (HI-PAL) will hold a summer basketball league for boys and girls aged 11-18.

The event will run from June 17 through July 29 at an East Hawai’i facility that has not yet been determined. Participants will be divided into three age categories: 11-12, 13-14 and 15-18. A schedule of games will be provided before the first set of games. 

HI-PAL encourages responsible adults to coach one or more teams. Interested coaches should call HI-PAL’s East Hawai’i coordinator, Officer Joseph Botelho Jr., and provide information about the teams they are coaching.
