Big Island police are looking for a 16-year-old boy reported missing from his Hilo residence since February 12, 2000.

The missing youth, Andrew Martinez, is described as being of Hispanic, Native American and Caucasian descent, being 5-feet-6 in height, weighing about 130 pounds and having brown eyes and short hair reddish brown on top and black along the sides and back.

Anyone with information about Martinez’ whereabouts is asked to call Officer Ann Mejia of the Juvenile Aid Section at 961-8810 or the police emergency number at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept strictly confidential.
