Big Island police are looking for a 16-year-old girl reported missing from her home in Hilo since May 3, 2005.

She is Nellie Mamuad. Mamuad is described as being about 5-foot-9 in height, weighing about 130 pounds with a slim build and having a tan complexion dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Officer Peter Kualii of the East Hawaii Juvenile Aid Section at 961-2373, or the police non-emergency telephone number at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept strictly confidential.
