MEDIA RELEASE

An abandoned warehouse in Hilo was destroyed by fire Monday morning (May 3, 2001).

Responding to a 12:59 a.m. call, police and fire units fought the blaze at the one-story structure, located on East Ohea Street, for about an hour before extinguishing it.

No injuries were reported in blaze, which destroyed the warehouse.

The cause of the was unknown early Monday morning.
