MEDIA RELEASE UPDATE

The Maui Police have arrested Nathaniel Davis on Tuesday, October 21, 2003, who escaped from Kau Police custody on September 3, 2003. Kau Police Officers had arrested Davis for Unauthorized Entry of Motor Vehicles. He later escaped from Kau Officers while at the Manuka State Park.

Police alerted the public on September 10, 2003 to be on the lookout for Davis who also had a Warrant for his arrest for a Revocation of Parole. Kau Police later received information that Davis may have fled to Maui. Acting on this information Maui Police was able to apprehend Davis.

Davis remains in the custody of the Maui Police Department on the Warrant of Arrest for revocation of Parole Violation pending his transport back to the Big Island.
