Detectives from the Hawai’i Police Department’s Area II Juvenile Aid Section have arrested two persons in connection with the theft of 82 football jerseys from the Konawaena High School locker room.

Timothy-John Reilly, 18, of Kealakekua and a 17-year-old boy were arrested Thursday (June 4) and charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree theft, and fourth-degree criminal property damage.

Reilly is being held at the Kona police cellblock in lieu of $2,500 bail. The juvenile was released to the custody of his guardians.

The Police Department thanks the public for helping to solve this case.
