Big Island police are searching for a 47-year-old Kealakekua woman who was reported missing.

Makiko Hashimoto, who also goes by the name Kayo, was last seen in Kealakekua at 5 p.m. Friday (November 16).

She is described as Japanese, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7, 130 to 140 pounds with brown eyes and brown shoulder-length hair. When last seen, she was wearing black jeans and an orange top. She may be operating a silver 2007 Mazda four-door station wagon with license plate HKE 207.

Police ask that anyone with information on her whereabouts call Detective Jason Berryhill at 326-4646, extension 281.
