Big Island police are searching for a 26-year-old man reported missing by his mother to the Santa Barbara Police Department in California.

Santa Barbara police believe Adrien A.R. Genet may live on the Big Island, possibly in Hilo or Puna. He is described as Caucasian, 6-feet tall, approximately 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Community Police Officer Kimo Siemann at the Puna station at 966-5835 or the police non-emergency telephone number at 935-3311.
