MEDIA RELEASE

Kapiolani Elementary School I was the Silver Division champion in the seventh annual Elementary School Division Volleyball Tournament.

Local Jam won the Aloha Division in the tournament, sponsored by the Positive Alternative Gang Education.

The P.A.G.E. tournament was held March 13-April 17, 1999, as part of the Hawaii County Police Department’s effort to give juveniles an alternative to joining gangs.

The tournament was made possible with the support of the State Office of Youth Services.
