…wanted on four outstanding bench warrants

Big Island police are looking for a 26-year-old man wanted on four outstanding bench warrants.

The suspect, identified as Herman Kalani Elderts, is wanted on warrants issued for contempt of court and illegal place to keep a firearm. His total bail has been set at $2,650.

Elderts is also a suspect and wanted for five counts of violating a temporary restraining order.

Elderts is described as being part-Hawaiian, being 5-foot-11 in height, weighing about 150 pounds and having brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Hilo Warrants Office at 961-2213 or the police non-emergency number at 935-3311.
