Police Seek Help in Kapaau Burglary 11-12-00

Police are asking for the public’s help in an investigation into a burglary that occurred early Saturday (November 11, 2000) in Kapaau, North Kohala.

Responding to a 12:30 p.m. call Saturday, North Kohala patrol officers determined that an unknown male entered an Ainakea subdivision home during the early morning hours, confronted an occupant of the residence and then fled.

The suspect was described only as a male in his late teens to early twenties, having a fair to light complexion and wearing baggy pants.

Anyone with information about the incident or who may know the identity of the suspect is asked to call Kona Detective Whitney Jenkins at 326-4235 or the police at 935-3311.
