Puna police and fire rescue personnel are searching for a Hawaiian Beaches man who fell off a cliff into the ocean early Thursday (April 15, 1999).

Police said Harvey S. Eblacas, 48, of a Hinalea Street address, fell into the ocean while fishing. The accident occurred off Beach Road about a quarter mile south of Kahakai Boulevard.
