Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person or persons who stole two Macintosh computers from a building at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.

The burglary took place sometime between 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (April 30) and 7:45 a.m. Thursday (May 1). The computers were valued at $1200 each.

Police ask anyone with information about the case to call Officer Donovan Kohara at 961-2213 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
