MEDIA RELEASE UPDATE

A man and a woman sought by police have been arrested and charged with various criminal offenses.

Arrested Wednesday (June 26, 2002) were Aaron Becker and Elona Keanini, both 25.

Becker was charged with one count each of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, theft and forgery. Keanini was charged with two counts of theft, two counts of forgery and one count of contempt.

South Kohala police had issued a news bulletin last week (June 20, 2002) asking the public to be on the lookout for the couple, who were wanted for suspected theft, forgeries and fraudulent use of a credit card.
