MEDIA RELEASE

Big Island police arrested a male subject wanted on three outstanding bench warrants and for questioning in a Forgery and Theft investigation.

Darian Requelman, 45, of no permanent address turned himself in to the Puna Police where he was arrested on three outstanding warrants and was subsequently released after posting bail.

Acting on a tip, Kona Criminal Investigations Section detectives recovered the silver 2004 Toyota pickup truck, license number HER-763 which Requelman was last seen operating and was reported stolen. Although Requelman was not a suspect in the theft investigation, he was wanted for questioning in connection to the circumstances surrounding the missing truck.
