MEDIA RELEASE

The Hawaii Police Department is advising the public of revisions to Firearms Registration hours at the Kealakehe Police Station.

Effective November 16, 2005, for a three month trial period, Firearms Registration hours will be between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, excluding holidays.

The change in present Firearms Registration hours were revised at the request of a member of the public and with the intention of better serving the public.

Questions and comments in regards to the revised hours should be directed to the District Commander, Captain Paul Kealoha by calling 326-4646, extension 253.
