Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 2-year-old Hilo boy who was reported missing.

Jonah Palakiko-Lono was last seen at Onekahakaha Beach Park on Saturday (September 6) when he was dropped off to visit with his father. The child’s father is identified as 43-year-old Kaleo K. Palakiko of no permanent address.

Jonah Palakiko-Lono is described as a part Hawaiian, approximately 2 feet tall, approximately 10-15 pounds, with black medium length hair, and brown eyes.

Kaleo Palakiko is described as part Hawaiian with a dark complexion, 5 feet-9 inches tall, 190 pounds, long black hair, brown eyes, and last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a gray t-shirt, and gray shorts.

Police ask anyone with information on their whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
