Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Arieana Balbin, who is reported as a runaway.

The teen was last seen on the 100 block of Makaala Street in Hilo, the morning of Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 9:00 a.m., however, not reported as a runaway until recently.

She is described as a thin build local female having a light brown complexion, 5-feet 1-inch tall, 115 pounds, brown eyes and dyed light brown shoulder length hair.

She was last seen wearing black leggings and a green “Stay Humble & Pray” hoodie.

Due to a medical condition that requires medication, Arieana is considered endangered.

Police ask anyone with information on Arieana Balbin’s whereabouts to call the department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311, or contact Officer Devin Ah Chong via email at Devin.Ahchong@hawaiicounty.gov.
