Hawai‘i Island’s Most Wanted on Crime Stoppers TV Show

The local television program “Crime Stoppers” airs monthly on Nā Leo TV.

Each month the show’s host, Hawaiʻi Police Department Public Relations Specialist Denise Laitinen, talks with sworn and civilian staff about public safety issues and new initiatives within the department. The half-hour program also features Community Relations staff asking for the public’s help in locating individuals wanted by the Hawaiʻi Police Department. The program is inspired by the national TV show “America’s Most Wanted.”

“Crime Stoppers” is a project of Crime Stoppers Hilo, Inc., which is a partnership of the business community, the media, and the Police Department.
