MEDIA RELEASE

Big Island police are looking for a 15-year-old girl who has been missing from her Kailua-Kona home since February 18, 2005.

She was identified as Samantha Moore. Moore is described as being 5-foot-4 in height, weighing about 105 pounds and having a light complexion, long straight brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing denim jeans and unknown other clothing.

Police have information that she may be in the Keaau or Volcano area of Puna.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Officer Walter Ah Mow of the West Hawaii Juvenile Aid Section at 326-4646, Ext. 303, or the police non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept strictly confidential.
