A temporary 24-hour one-way traffic pattern will be in effect along a portion of Komohana Street from Tuesday, January 19, through Friday, February 19, weather permitting.

Traffic will flow in the Hāmākua direction only on Komohana Street between Kūkūau Street and Ponahawai Street.

The temporary 24-hour one-way traffic pattern, allowed under Hawaiʻi County Code (Section 24-10), will be in effect to accommodate pavement reconstruction work for the Komohana Street Reconstruction Project (Waiānuenue Avenue to Kūkūau Street), Phases 6A and 6B—Job No. E-4230.

Phase B will incorporate opening the southbound lane from Huali Place, once pavement reconstruction work is completed.
