Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 59-year-old Keaʻau man who was reported missing.

Barton Bumatay was last seen in Keaʻau on December 31.

He is described as a local male, 6-foot-1, 255 pounds with brown eyes and salt-and-pepper hair.

He may be operating a black 2007 Chevy Colorado license number HLX 461.

Police ask anyone with any information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
